I was barely in bed before I heard the door open and him fumble around in the dark, trying not to wake us up. I got up and went to the bathroom, honestly a little embarrassed about what I know I was dreaming about. I just know that I woke up thinking about Uncle Kenny and I was soaking wet. I don’t know exactly what I was dreaming. It was a lot of fun but we eventually tired and went to bed. We got settled and played games and stayed up late doing each other’s make up and everything a 13 year old girl wants to do with an 18 year old girl (I was held back). The next day things got boring like I lived there every day of my life. They went on about how much they liked me and missed me and couldn’t wait to spend time with me. A huge smile on her face, she jumped into my arms. Ashley heard me shuffling around and came running. He hugged me, said it was nice to see me, apologized for needing to leave, and left. I walked in to see Uncle Kenny hurrying to get to work and Ashley on her game in the living room. It was a summer like any other but it is one I’ll never forget… The summer I want to tell you about is last summer, between my junior and senior year. He would give me anything I needed while I was there, food and all that, and he would pay me at the end of the summer before I went home so I have enough to keep me going until the next year. Uncle Kenny worked a lot and he didn’t trust Ashley enough to leave her alone so he hired me on every summer as a live in babysitter. During the summer breaks from school I would usually stay with my stepmom’s brother, Uncle Kenny and his daughter Ashley.
Most of them hate me, but I do fine as long as I stick to myself. Hope you like it.įor those of you who don’t know my family, we were never very close. Men! Anyways, this is a little story about me.
